Bilingual Typist & Translator – Bogotá, Colombia

Opeka is hiring a detail-oriented Bilingual Typist, Translator & Document Preparation Specialist for a full-time role based in Bogotá, Colombia. This position is also remote eligible. You will prepare and translate English- and Spanish-language documents, support clients in both languages, and help teams deliver accurate, well-organized materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Type and format documents in English and Spanish with accuracy and consistency.
• Translate documents and communications while preserving the original meaning and tone.
• Review, edit, and proofread materials to meet quality standards.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide professional bilingual service.
• Organize document systems for easy access and retrieval.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Language Studies, Communication, Business, or a related field.
• Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with editing tools and document preparation software.
