About the role
Komeka Bills-Walker is seeking a Program Specialist V to perform highly advanced consultative and technical work under the direct supervision of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) Quality Improvement (QI) Special Projects Manager. The role works under limited direction, with extensive latitude for initiative and independent judgment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the QI Special Projects Manager with implementing goals and objectives.
- Help develop guidelines, policies, procedures, schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established project or grant goals.
- Coordinate and evaluate Unit activities.
- Lead and coordinate Quality Improvement Initiatives within the Unit.
- Support and respond to the developing needs of internal and external customers.
- Serve as the point of contact for some of the laboratory's Quality Assurance Systems.
