Project Surveyor

About the role

Neff & Associates is expanding its Survey Department and has an immediate opening for a Project Surveyor. This is an office-based position with minimal outside field work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, topographic surveys, right-of-way plans and legal descriptions.
• Generate staking points and process field data.
• Direct field personnel to perform field surveys to State of Ohio minimum standards or above.
• Support project scheduling, personnel management and work production.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience within the State of Ohio.
• Be an S.I. working toward an Ohio P.S. license or a currently licensed Ohio P.S.
• Be familiar with land record research and platting requirements within County and City agencies around the Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio areas.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Understand Trimble survey equipment and data collection.
• Survey field crew members looking to transition to an office environment are encouraged to apply.
