QC Inspector - Precision Machined Parts

About the role

We're a small, established, ISO 9001:2015 certified precision machine shop.

Tasks

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of precision machined parts
• Read engineering drawings and interpret dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T
• Complete inspection reports
• Identify nonconforming parts and communicate findings to the shop team
• Assist with measuring equipment and calibration records

Requirements

• Previous mechanical inspection experience in a precision machine shop
• Strong blueprint-reading and dimensional inspection skills
• Familiarity with GD&T
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Able to work independently, stay organized, and communicate professionally
• Basic computer skills for inspection documentation
• ISO 9001 experience is a plus

Schedule

• Full-Time

Pay

• $30–$35/hour, based on experience
