RF Optimizing Engineer: 5G NR | LTE | VoLTE | VoNR
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 5G RF Optimization Engineer to support one of the largest and most advanced 5G deployments in North America. This position is ideal for a hands-on wireless expert with deep RAN optimization experience and a proven track record supporting T-Mobile's nationwide 5G network.The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for end-to-end RF performance optimization, KPI analysis, troubleshooting, feature validation, parameter tuning, and network quality improvements across 5G SA, NSA, DSS, mmWave, and LTE technologies.This role requires an individual who can independently identify network performance issues, execute optimization strategies, and drive measurable improvements in customer experience and network KPIs.
Mandatory Qualifications
Required Experience:Minimum 10 years of RF Optimization experience in LTE, VoLTE and 5G wireless networks.Minimum 2 years of hands-on 5G NR optimization experience.Recent Nokia RAN experience within the last 3 years is mandatory.Prior T-Mobile network experience is strongly preferred.Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Availability:Travel is generally minimal but candidates must be available for occasional business travel when required.All travel must receive prior written approval from Nokia.Candidate must be available throughout the project lifecycle. Personal time off may be limited outside of Nokia-designated holidays and approved non-working periods.

Parameter Tuning & Feature OptimizationPerform parameter audits, tuning, and optimization for Nokia LTE and 5G networks.Support deployment and validation of new RAN features and software releases.Execute deep-dive counter analysis and trend reporting.Manage uplink / downlink ThroughputsCareer aggregation
