Regional Wholesale Sales Representative

About the role

Green Rabbit Farms is a mushroom producer specializing in premium wholesale varieties including lion’s mane, oyster, shiitake, and chestnut mushrooms.

We supply grocers, restaurants, and food service operations across the Winnipeg and Westman region.

Tasks

• Manage and service existing wholesale accounts
• Collect and log weekly orders on pack days
• Prospect for new clients through calls, emails, and texts
• Pitch products and set up in-person meetings and samples
• Follow up consistently to convert leads into ongoing accounts
• Coordinate with our delivery team as needed
• Be responsive on pack days when logging client orders

Requirements

• A genuine people person with strong relationship-building skills
• Ability to walk into situations cold and pitch effectively
• Proven closing ability; you convert prospects into clients
• Restaurant, food service, or produce sales experience (ideal but not essential)
• Knowledge of mushroom products and culinary applications, or willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to reach clients in person as needed
• Flexibility and ability to manage your own schedule
• CRM experience is a bonus

Schedule

• 2–10 hrs/week, flexible
• Immediate

Pay

• $20/hour
• Commission on mushroom sales
• Bonus for new client acquisition
