Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Critical Care (CCU)

Tasks

• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients, including post-cardiac surgery patients and those experiencing myocardial infarction and other complex cardiac conditions.
• Administer cardiac medications, vasoactive drips, anticoagulants, and IV therapies while closely monitoring patient responses.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic parameters, arterial lines, CVP, and other invasive monitoring devices.
• Provide post-operative care following CABG, valve replacement, and other cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Critical Care experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Active New York RN license.
• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).

Schedule

• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Pay

• TRAVELER W2 (Outside 75-Mile Radius): $75 - $80/hourly
• LOCAL CANDIDATES (Within 75-Miles): $65 - $70
