Job description
Health care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site 2nd shift position in Toledo, Ohio. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to support patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems and follow applicable regulations and best practices.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide critical care as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and help improve patient care procedures.
- Use patient care technology to support clinical decisions and improve outcomes.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Compassionate patient care skills and strong empathy.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
- One to three years of nursing experience preferred, particularly in a clinical or hospital setting.
