Registered Nurse - General Adult Unit - Pond

We are excited to be opening a new unit!

Schedule: 24 hours weekly, 7AM to 7PM with rotating weekends | Job Location Type: In Person

Sheppard Pratt's inpatient units are nationally recognized programs for the treatment of individuals with a variety of mental health conditions. The new General Adult Unit provides specialized inpatient treatment for adults 18 and older. The program utilizes an intensive multi-disciplinary treatment approach through individual therapy, milieu therapy, and process-oriented, experiential, and psycho-educational group therapies.

What to expect.

As a Registered Nurse/RN you will:

Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.Document and report patient progress to treatment team.

The pay range for this position is $37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
