Deeking an experienced Researcher for a premium music-led unscripted interview series filming in Los Angeles this November.

Dates: Early–mid November 2026 (exact dates TBC).

Duration: Approx. 2 days initially, with potential additional days subject to production requirements.

Rate: $350/day.

We’re looking for someone with strong music and entertainment knowledge who can:

* Deep-research major recording artists, their careers, catalogues, defining moments and cultural impact.

* Uncover interesting, lesser-known stories beyond standard promotional interviews.

* Research artist credits, collaborations, music rights and key career milestones.

* Source relevant archive, interviews, imagery, records and memorabilia.

* Prepare clear artist research briefs, timelines, interview notes and potential story angles.

* Fact-check information and support the Lead Producer with editorial preparation.

* Identify relevant artist-specific visual elements and storytelling opportunities for the art department.

Strong research skills, attention to detail and an interest in music, culture and entertainment are essential.

Previous experience in music documentaries, unscripted television, talent research or premium digital content is a plus.

LA-based preferred. Some advance research may be completed remotely.
