Retail Sales Representative

Tasks

• Guide customers through flooring selections, offer tailored design advice, and manage projects from the first consultation through completion.
• Use sales software to create quotes, work orders, purchase orders, and pick tickets.
• Coordinate materials and deliveries, communicate with clients, installers, and project managers, and conduct site visits when needed to confirm specifications and customer satisfaction.
• Assist customers, answer calls, follow up with clients, and keep samples and displays organized and inviting.
• Stay current on products, design trends, and pricing to deliver informed recommendations.

Requirements

• Retail sales experience, ideally in flooring, home improvement, or interior design.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, working independently and with a team, and adapting to changing customer needs.
• Experience with sales or project management software is preferred.
• Basic flooring, installation, and design knowledge is an asset; training is available.
• Flexibility for site visits and occasional weekend hours is required.
