Job description
About the role
TAMT Transportation is looking for an experienced Safety Specialist / Manager to join our trucking operations team.
Tasks
- DOT / FMCSA compliance and audit readiness
- Safety documentation, permits, and regulatory filings
- Insurance claims and accident investigations
- DataQs and safety-related follow-up
- Incident tracking and risk management
- Root-cause analysis and corrective actions
- Supporting Dispatch & Operations on safety matters
Requirements
- Experience in trucking, logistics, safety, or compliance
- Hands-on experience with insurance claims
- Knowledge of DOT / FMCSA regulations
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Professional English communication
- Proactive, accountable, and problem-solving mindset
- Experience with FMCSA portals, DataQs, ELDs, or fleet operations is a plus.
