About the Role
This client-facing position is perfect for problem solvers who enjoy working directly with clients and taking ownership of payroll processes. You will support Sage Payroll users, ensure accurate payroll processing, and maintain compliance with legislation.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic and onsite client support
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately
- Submit EMP501 reconciliations via E@syFile
- Keep updated with payroll and tax legislation changes
- Canvass for new clients during quieter periods
- Sell payroll packages, upgrades, payslips, and consulting services
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Minimum Requirements
- Matric and basic tertiary qualification
- Strong knowledge of Sage Partner Payroll (essential)
- Sage Partner Payroll qualification required
- Knowledge of other Sage products (advantageous)
- PCC knowledge (advantageous)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office
- Experience with E@syFile submissions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to work under pressure
- Own reliable vehicle (essential)
