Job description
PasPay Consulting (Pty) Ltd is hiring a full-time Sage Support Consultant for a predominantly office-based role in Lambton, Germiston, serving the Alberton, Gauteng area. The starting salary is 20000 per month, with commission. The anticipated start date is January 2026.
About the Role
Provide client-facing support for Sage Payroll, process payroll accurately, and help South African businesses meet payroll and tax compliance requirements. This role suits a people-focused problem solver who can take ownership of client issues and build lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic and onsite support to clients.
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls.
- Submit EMP501 reconciliations through E@syFile.
- Keep up to date with payroll and tax legislation.
- Canvass for new clients during quieter periods.
- Sell payroll packages, upgrades, payslips, and consulting services.
- Build strong, long-term client relationships.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric and a basic tertiary qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Sage Partner Payroll and a Sage Partner Payroll qualification.
- Understanding of E@syFile submissions.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn, grow, and work under pressure.
- A reliable personal vehicle is essential.
Knowledge of other Sage products and PCC is advantageous.
