Saw Operator

STEEL FABRICATION

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Operate a large industrial saw to cut structural steel
Measure and cut steel accurately
Operate a forklift
Move and stage materials throughout the shop
Assist with fabrication and production as needed
Inspect work for accuracy and quality
Cross-train and help in different areas of the operation

MUST HAVE:
Industrial saw / steel-cutting experience
Ability to accurately read a tape measure
Forklift experience
Strong safety awareness
Dependability and willingness to jump in where needed

PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED:
Blueprint reading
Welding experience
