Santhi Priya is hiring a dedicated Scrub Nurse in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This full-time role offers an annual salary of INR 400,000. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and have expertise in surgical assistance, playing a vital role in supporting surgical teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons during operations by preparing the surgical field and maintaining a sterile environment. Handle surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring availability and proper functioning. Monitor patient status and provide necessary support to ensure safety during procedures. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to coordinate roles and ensure smooth surgical operations. Participate in setup and breakdown of the operating room, adhering to hygiene and safety standards. Document relevant surgical data and assist in patient follow-up care post-surgery. Stay updated on the latest surgical procedures and best practices to improve patient care quality. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Experience as a scrub nurse or in surgical assistance is preferred. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and patient care practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications in surgical nursing are advantageous. Proficiency with medical software and tools used in surgical settings. This position requires close collaboration with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing staff to ensure a cohesive patient care approach.
