SDET – API Automation

Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Automate API testing using Java and Rest Assured.
• Perform web automation using Selenium WebDriver and mobile automation using Appium.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and manage defects through resolution.

Requirements

• Strong Java programming skills for test automation
• Rest Assured for API automation
• Selenium WebDriver for web testing
• Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation
• TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber / BDD
• Git, Maven / Gradle
• Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
• Basic SQL and database validation
• Preferred: Experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise applications
• Preferred: Exposure to cloud-based testing and containerized environments
• Preferred: Knowledge of performance, accessibility, or security testing
• Preferred: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
