As a Senior Accountant, you will be instrumental in managing financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting strategic financial decisions. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP principles. Perform detailed account reconciliations and analyze variances to provide actionable financial insights. Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings. Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations to auditors. Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster professional growth and maintain high standards. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a senior role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. This Senior Accountant role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and works closely with finance and operations teams. This is a contract position based in Nashville, Tennessee, with no remote work option. Competitive pay at $29 per hour, approximately $50,000 annually.
