Senior Business Analyst

Tasks

• Lead stakeholder interviews, JAD sessions, workshops, and requirements discussions
• Translate business needs into business and functional requirements
• Develop user stories, use cases, and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS)
• Analyze existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements
• Create process flows, context diagrams, UML diagrams, wireframes, and mockups
• Maintain requirements traceability and manage changes throughout delivery
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered functionality
• Support post-implementation enhancements and ongoing stakeholder communication
• Manage analysis deliverables, priorities, and deadlines

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in each of the following core areas: Requirements elicitation and development of clear system requirements; Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and delivery; Business process reengineering and software process improvement; Developing user stories and use cases using BA best practices; Designing UX-aligned mockups and wireframes; Stakeholder communica
• 4+ years of documented experience using Atlassian Jira
• Preferred experience: 4+ years: Texas Education Agency, other government education agencies, or education vendors; 3+ years: Modern Requirements software; 2+ years: Complaint and case management workflows, including intake, investigation, and resolution; 2+ years: Educator certification,
