Senior Cribl Engineer

Tasks

• Design and maintain secure, scalable enterprise observability pipelines using Cribl Stream.
• Manage on-premises Cribl infrastructure, configurations, and data routing.
• Automate deployments and configuration management through CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate Cribl with Splunk for efficient log ingestion and monitoring.
• Optimize data filtering, transformation, routing, and pipeline performance.
• Troubleshoot ingestion failures, data loss, and connectivity issues.
• Implement security, governance, and audit-compliant logging practices.
• Collaborate with Splunk, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams.

Requirements

• 7+ Years
• Cribl Stream: Strong expertise in designing, configuring, deploying, and managing on-premises Cribl Stream pipelines.
• Splunk: Experience with Splunk ingestion, data routing, parsing, indexing, and troubleshooting.
• CI/CD Automation: Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and automated configuration deployments.
• Scripting: Strong Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell scripting skills for automation and operational tasks.
• Linux & Networking: Solid understanding of Linux administration, TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and network connectivity.
• Security & Compliance: Knowledge of audit controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Good to Have: CI/CD Architecture, Jenkins, GitLab / GitHub Actions, Infrastructure Automat
