Job description
WackoWave is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a contract position in Cincinnati, Ohio. Join a collaborative, Agile technology team and build reliable data systems that support analytics and business intelligence. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytical solutions and business intelligence initiatives.
- Apply data mining techniques to extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to translate data needs into technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across data processing workflows.
- Implement data governance practices that support the accuracy, availability, and security of data assets.
- Assess data quality and optimize processes to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Document technical processes, data architecture, and data model designs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
