Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes to ingest and process data from diverse sources.
• Build and optimize data pipelines using Apache Airflow, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Implement and enhance data architecture for data warehousing, emphasizing data quality and integrity.
• Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues to guarantee seamless data availability for stakeholders.
• Document technical specifications and best practices to promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend new tools and technologies as appropriate.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Expertise with AWS cloud services including S3, Redshift, and Glue.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Familiarity with financial services data processing and regulatory requirements.
• Strong experience creating and managing data pipelines using Apache Airflow.

This contract position reports directly to the Data Engineering Manager and involves close collaboration with project managers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver impactful data solutions.
