Job description
Precision Tech Corp is hiring a Senior Databricks Engineer for a long-term contract in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a local-only, fully onsite role requiring work at the client location five days per week. Candidates should bring deep experience with Databricks and AWS data engineering.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Design and engineer production-grade, high-volume ELT and ETL pipelines using Databricks.
- Apply strong knowledge of the AWS ecosystem and Databricks data engineering.
- Build lakehouse solutions using Delta Lake and related technologies, including Lakeflow and Lakebase.
- Develop with PySpark and/or Scala Spark.
- Bring experience with Databricks and AWS data engineering.
Preferred Experience
- Streaming and Delta Live Tables (DLT).
- Databricks MLOps.
- Data Mesh architecture.
- Advanced cost and performance engineering.
Location and Interview Process
- Location: Wilmington, DE; onsite five days per week. Local candidates only; this role is not remote.
- Contract: Long-term project.
- Round 1: Zoom interview with a panel of two to three people.
- Round 2: In-person interview at a client location.
Pay: $58 per hour.
