Senior Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

Own engineering design across custom power distribution solutions, UL 508A control panels, and UL 891 switchboards supporting mission-critical data center and industrial facilities.

Tasks

• Build, optimize, and own master EPLAN Electric P8 template libraries, 3D digital-twin panel layouts, and automated wire-harness routing.
• Serve as the designated UL 508A Manufacturer Technical Representative (MTR), lead SCCR calculations, and interface directly with UL Solutions/NRTL auditors.
• Bridge engineering and production across a multi-facility manufacturing network along the Southeast corridor, establishing repeatable design standards that shop technicians can build seamlessly.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on proficiency with EPLAN Electric P8 / Pro Panel (or deep AutoCAD Electrical background with rapid EPLAN adoption).
• Strong practical knowledge of UL 508A, UL 891, and the NEC (NFPA 70). Active UL 508A MTR credential is a significant
