This is not a role where you'll simply support from the sidelines. You'll be a key contributor to case strategy, client management, trial preparation, and case execution, working alongside a team of experienced attorneys and highly skilled family law paralegals.

The Role Working closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals, you'll take ownership of a varied caseload and play a critical role throughout the lifecycle of each matter.
Key responsibilities include:Drafting motions, decrees, agreed orders, discovery responses, special provisions, and trial materialsManaging case progression and supporting attorneys throughout litigationActing as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and coordinating documentationPreparing exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and hearing materialsManaging filings across Texas jurisdictionsSupporting mediations, hearings, and final trialsWorking collaboratively with an experienced team of family law professionalsDelivering exceptional client service during often challenging and emotional situations
About You5+ years of dedicated Family Law Paralegal experienceStrong drafting experience across decrees, motions, discovery, and agreed ordersExperience supporting hearings, mediations, and trial preparationSolid knowledge of Texas family law, including divorce, SAPCRs, modifications, enforcement actions, and property divisionExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyComfortable working with legal technology platforms such as Clio, Monday.com, Dropbox, and similar systemsA compassionate, client-focused approach and the ability to remain calm in high-conflict matters
Highly desirable:Board Certified Paralegal status or actively working toward certificationBilingual Spanish language skills
