Senior RDK-B Firmware Developer

Tasks

• develop, integrate, and validate broadband gateway software across RDK-B, DOCSIS, cable modem, and Wi-Fi platforms.

Requirements

• 5–8 years
• BE/BTech
• Strong C/C++ and embedded Linux experience, including Yocto or Buildroot
• Hands-on development for RDK-B broadband devices such as gateways and routers
• Broadband technologies: DOCSIS, cable modems, Broadband CPE, fiber gateways, USP/TR-369, and Wi-Fi 6/6E/7
• Networking fundamentals and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6
• Python and Perl scripting
• RTOS and hardware interfaces: FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr; I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, and USB
• Testing and troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, iPerf, Spirent, or Ixia
• CI/CD, GitLab, Jira, and Agile/Scrum experience
• Preferred: OpenSync, Plume, EasyMesh, or cloud-managed Wi-Fi
• Preferred: Wireless technologies such as BLE, Thread, or Zigbee
• Preferred: OEM platforms such as Askey, Sercomm, Sagemcom, Vantiva/Technicolor, or CommScope
• Preferred: Supporting cable or broadband service providers
• Preferred: Secure boot, OTA updates, board bring-up, BSP customization, or U-Boot
