Senior ServiceNow Discovery Developer

Tasks

• Implement, configure, and support ServiceNow Discovery solutions.
• Configure and manage MID Servers, Discovery Patterns, and Sensors.
• Maintain CMDB health, data quality, and governance.
• Use the Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) for accurate CMDB data management.
• Discover cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Troubleshoot Discovery, credential, performance, and infrastructure integration issues.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.

Requirements

• Valid, verifiable ServiceNow Discovery Certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery implementation and support.
• Expertise in MID Servers, Discovery Patterns, Sensors, IRE, and CMDB administration.
• Cloud resource discovery across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Python scripting and automation.
• Strong cloud infrastructure and networking knowledge.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Preferred: AWS services and cloud-native environments.
• Preferred: GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ServiceNow AI capabilities, or other GenAI development assistants.
• Candidates must have verifiable professional experience and valid, verifiable certifications.
