Senior SQL Server Database Administrator

Tasks

• Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Perform database performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage database backup, recovery, High Availability (HA), and Disaster Recovery (DR).
• Administer Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VMs.
• Implement database security, access controls, and encryption.
• Perform database migrations between on-premises and Azure environments.
• Develop T-SQL and PowerShell scripts for database automation.
• Support developers with database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Monitor database performance and availability using Azure Monitor and other tools.

Requirements

• Local candidates required.
• 5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and T-SQL.
• SQL Server Performance Tuning and Optimization.
• Backup, Recovery, Always On, Failover Clustering, and Replication.
• Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure VMs.
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Backup.
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL.
• Database Security, RBAC, and Encryption.
• PowerShell Scripting and Database Migration.
• Experience with both On-Premises and Azure SQL environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
