Job description
Chac United Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Tekla Checker with 4–5 years of proven experience in structural steel detailing and checking using Tekla Structures. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AISC and OSHA standards and hands-on experience with international projects, especially from the US, UK, and Canadian markets. Key Responsibilities Review and verify Tekla 3D models and drawings (GA, assembly, and part drawings) for accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Ensure all detailing adheres to AISC, OSHA, and client-specific standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and modelers to resolve discrepancies and design issues. Approve final fabrication and erection drawings before client submission. Maintain quality assurance and ensure deliverables meet timelines and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior checkers and modelers. Identify potential design, fabrication, or erection issues early and propose practical solutions. Document revisions, approvals, and comments thoroughly. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with quick, practical solutions. Review and validate 3D Tekla models using generated reports for accuracy and completeness. Prepare detailed checking reports and documentation. Evaluate erectability and constructability of structural members to ensure smooth on-site assembly.
