As a Senior Tekla Checker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of structural steel detailing, supporting project success and client satisfaction. This is an on-site position in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, offering a collaborative work environment and opportunities for professional growth. Key Responsibilities Review and check Tekla 3D models and drawings (GA, assembly, and part drawings) for accuracy and compliance with project specifications and client standards. Ensure all detailing work strictly adheres to AISC, OSHA, and client-specific standards, maintaining quality and safety benchmarks. Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, and modelers to resolve discrepancies and design issues promptly. Approve final fabrication and erection drawings before submission to clients, ensuring zero errors and on-time delivery. Maintain rigorous quality assurance processes and ensure all deliverables meet project timelines and standards. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior checkers and modelers, fostering team skill development and knowledge sharing. Identify potential design, fabrication, or erection issues early and suggest practical, cost-effective solutions to avoid delays. Document thoroughly all revisions, approvals, and comments to maintain clear project records and audit trails. Review and validate 3D Tekla models using generated reports for accuracy and completeness, ensuring constructability and erectability. Prepare detailed checking reports and maintain RFIs (Request for Information) to clarify design or fabrication queries. What We're Looking For Required: 4–5 years of experience in structural steel detailing and checking using Tekla Structures. Strong knowledge of AISC and OSHA standards applicable to structural steel projects. Hands-on experience with international projects, especially from US, UK, and Canadian markets. Proven ability to review and validate 3D Tekla models and drawings for accuracy and compliance. Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide quick, practical solutions. Preferred: Experience mentoring junior staff and leading quality assurance processes. Familiarity with client-specific standards and advanced Tekla reporting tools. Ability to evaluate erectability and constructability for smooth on-site assembly.
