Chac United Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Senior Tekla Checker in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. This full-time, on-site role is suited to a structural steel detailing professional with 4–5 years of experience checking Tekla Structures models and drawings for international projects, particularly in the US, UK, and Canadian markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review Tekla 3D models and general arrangement (GA), assembly, and part drawings for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Check structural steel detailing against AISC, OSHA, and client-specific standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and modelers to resolve discrepancies and design issues.
- Approve final fabrication and erection drawings before client submission.
- Maintain quality assurance processes and ensure deliverables meet project timelines and standards.
- Guide and mentor junior checkers and modelers.
- Identify potential design, fabrication, and erection issues early and recommend practical solutions.
- Document revisions, approvals, and review comments thoroughly.
- Validate Tekla 3D models using generated reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare detailed checking reports and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate structural members for constructability and erectability to support efficient on-site assembly.
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of proven experience in structural steel detailing and checking using Tekla Structures.
- In-depth knowledge of AISC and OSHA standards.
- Hands-on experience with international projects, especially for US, UK, and Canadian markets.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to identify issues and provide timely, practical solutions.
