About the Role
Chac United Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a full-time Tekla Project Manager in Nashik, Maharashtra, India. This on-site role leads steel detailing and BIM projects for international clients, including projects for the US, UK, and Canadian markets. The ideal candidate brings advanced Tekla Structures expertise and knowledge of AISC, OSHA, and applicable international standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of Tekla steel detailing projects and take ownership of project outcomes.
- Lead modelers, detailers, and checkers to deliver accurate, high-quality work.
- Plan timelines, allocate resources, and track progress against client deadlines.
- Coordinate workflows with clients, engineers, fabricators, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with AISC, OSHA, and relevant international codes and standards.
- Review and approve Tekla models, drawings, and reports before submission.
- Identify project risks and take corrective action to protect quality and profitability.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Support project estimation, proposal preparation, and client presentations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of steel detailing experience using Tekla Structures.
- Strong knowledge of AISC, OSHA, and international design standards.
- Experience managing steel detailing projects for US, UK, and Canadian clients.
- Project leadership and coordination skills across modeling, detailing, and checking teams.
Compensation and Employment
Full-time position paying 70000 per month. This role is based on-site in Nashik, Maharashtra, India; remote work is not offered.
