Job description
kiruba is hiring a motivated, detail-oriented SEO Intern for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Join a collaborative digital marketing team and gain hands-on experience improving clients’ search visibility and organic growth. No prior experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Research keywords and identify opportunities for client websites.
- Support on-page SEO, including content recommendations and HTML tag updates.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and SEO tools, and prepare reports.
- Draft SEO-friendly blog posts and articles.
- Assist with link-building campaigns to support domain authority and search rankings.
- Work with content developers and web designers to coordinate SEO strategies.
- Follow search industry trends and algorithm updates to help apply current best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar SEO tools is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant coursework or internship experience is helpful but not required.
Team and Development
Report to the SEO Manager, who will guide your learning and development. You’ll collaborate regularly with cross-functional content and design teams in a fast-paced agency environment.
