SMT Rework Technician

Performing manual soldering and desoldering of surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole components, often under a microscope. Handling advanced rework for fine-pitch components like BGA, QFN, and CSP. Troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying PCBA circuits, including replacing faulty, missing, or misaligned components. High level of precision and "steady hands" are required for working with microscopic components like 0201 packages. Skills include experience in fine pitch SMT and thru-hole soldering, proficiency with rework BGA rework stations, soldering iron, hot-air machines, stereo microscopes, ability to interpret engineering drawings and documentation, understanding of electronic component types and packaging, and general computer skills.
