Software QA Tester

About the role

Support enterprise application testing for a government DMV application.

Requirements

• Only locals to MD, DC, VA
• 16+ years of experience
• 10+ years of software QA and application testing experience
• 6+ years of Micro Focus ALM / HP ALM
• 6+ years of Jira for test management and defect tracking
• 10+ years of SQL skills for report testing, database validation, and data verification
• Experience with manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing
• Automation tools such as Selenium or ACCELQ
• Strong understanding of SDLC and the full software development lifecycle
• Experience with requirements analysis, test case creation, test execution, and defect management
• REST API testing and version control experience
• 6–10 years of experience with ERP management processes, including Knowledge Management, Supply Chain Management, Material Management, Logistics, Procurement
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Contract: 12+ Months, with potential extension
