Solaris/Linux Systems Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise Solaris/Linux administration experience, with deep, recent, hands-on Solaris expertise.
• Proficiency with Oracle Solaris 11.4, including Software Repository Updates and Zones/Containers.
• Strong enterprise Linux administration skills; SUSE Linux preferred.
• Experience installing, configuring and tuning operating systems and file systems.
• Strong scripting skills using ksh, bash and/or Perl, plus proficiency with the vi editor.
• Knowledge of storage devices, multipathing, high availability and backup procedures.
• Experience with NFS, CIFS, cron and enterprise job schedulers.
• Knowledge of OS security best practices, LDAP, single sign-on, role management and access controls.
