Spanish Document Translator Contract in Toronto, ON

Adecco is looking for a skilled Spanish Document Translator to join our Toronto, Ontario team on a contract basis. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and culturally appropriate translations of important documents from English to Spanish, supporting communication with our Spanish-speaking clients and partners. Key Responsibilities Translate a wide range of documents from English to Spanish with precision and attention to detail. Proofread and edit translations to guarantee quality and fidelity to the original text. Work collaboratively with translators, editors, and team members to ensure consistency across all translated materials. Manage multiple translation projects efficiently, meeting deadlines consistently. Research industry-specific terminology to maintain accuracy in specialized content. Create and maintain glossaries to standardize vocabulary and terminology. Provide constructive feedback to improve translation workflows and quality. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field. Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in document translation, especially legal, technical, or marketing documents. Strong command of both English and Spanish languages, with proven translation and proofreading skills. Experience using translation software such as SDL Trados or memoQ. Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
