About the role
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network, designed to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. The system is designed to serve individual households, schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.
The Leo team is seeking a Senior Factory Manager for the Electronics Supply Chain (ESC) organization. The role supports internal stakeholders in driving execution across complex electronics manufacturing environments, with a focus on production stability, supply continuity, and adherence to quality and operational standards. It partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and internal and external manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities
- Measure, control, and improve capacity, quality, manufacturing performance, and delivery execution across manufacturing operations.
- Lead operational and technical deep dives to resolve manufacturing constraints, improve stability, and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate risks and improve execution performance across manufacturing environments.
Requirements
- Strong track record operating in complex electronics manufacturing environments.
- Experience driving execution across internal factories and external suppliers and improving production performance through disciplined problem-solving and operational rigor.
- Ability to work in new and ambiguous environments, solve complex problems, and engage a broad range of cross-functional stakeholders.
- Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
