Job description
About the role
Solstice Advanced Materials is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the Applications Development team supporting Thermal and Assembly Solutions (TAS) within its Electronic Materials Business.
The role drives new product development through internal evaluations in intended applications and customer qualifications, and serves as a primary technical interface to customers in the Semiconductor Packaging and Displays industry. It leads a team of scientists and engineers to drive adoption of new products and technologies in advanced packaging, thermal management, and displays at customer sites.
The role is responsible for the safe and operation of a Center of Excellence (COE) in the Bay Area, providing applications support to customers. It also oversees troubleshooting complex problems, root cause analyses, and resolution of customer applications and product issues.
Responsibilities
- Work with strategic marketing, NPI Marketing, and lead customers to identify and define growth opportunities in advanced packaging, displays, and Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs).
- Drive New Product Development projects for TAS and lead product qualification and integration at customers.
- Support customer adoption through demos, on-site evaluations, and joint development programs with customers and industry partners.
- Collaborate with internal product development teams in synthesis and formulation.
- Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root cause analyses, and resolve customer applications and product issues.
- Identify innovative solutions and recommend process and product improvements to drive business growth in TAS.
