Job description

Design and implement reliability strategies for highly available, production-scale cloud applications.
Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability metrics to improve service availability.
Implement application instrumentation, metrics, logging, distributed tracing, dashboards, and actionable alerts.
Troubleshoot production issues, lead root-cause analysis, and reduce MTTR.
Automate repetitive operational tasks and eliminate recurring reliability issues.
Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment safety, and progressive delivery strategies.
Establish SRE standards and collaborate with application and platform engineering teams.

Strong hands-on SRE experience supporting production-scale distributed systems.
Proven production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Practical expertise in SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and reliability engineering.
Observability and instrumentation, including metrics, logs, traces, and alerting.
Production incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
CI/CD pipeline development and Python/Bash scripting.
Preferred: Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Preferred: GCP Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Preferred: GitHub Actions, Istio, and Apigee.
Preferred: Canary releases, blue/green deployments, and progressive delivery.
We are specifically looking for candidates with demonstrable hands-on GCP production experience and real SRE ownership-not profiles focused primarily on DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD.
