St Shift Material Handlers

FOR A BUSY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS 76177

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN THE ALLIANCE AREA.

1ST SHIFT: 5AM - 2PM
SCHEDULE: MONDAY - FRIDAY (FLEXIBLE ON WEEKENDS WHEN NEEDED)
PAY RATE: $16.00 HOURLY

This position performs a variety of moderate physical and administrative tasks that are involved with the distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unpacking and checking received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received goods.
- Rejecting unsatisfactory, damaged, or defected items.
- Lifting or moving heavy items
- Operating equipment to move or expedite material
- Proper documentation or storage location.
- Store material in their designated location after been received in the system.
- Examining stocks and distributing materials and supplies in inventory to manufacturing lines.
- Monitoring and controlling inventory.
- Research inventory discrepancies.
- Preparing goods for final shipment and maintaining records and tracking.
- Embrace safety culture.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience:
- Inventory controller: 1 year (Required)
- Order picking: 1 year (Required)
- Ability to communicate (Required)
- Work Location: In person
