Staff Nurse

About the role

Staff Nurses at Zu promote and restore patients’ health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. They provide physical and psychological support to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions and respond to treatment.
• Document medical information and events, check vital signs, and record them in patient files.
• Support the learning environment by guiding nursing students and other staff and technicians in training.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, sessions, and certification programs.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Check stock regularly, maintain inventory levels, and inform the Ward in Charge.
• Educate patients’ families about diseases and their treatment.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing or B/ScN, with valid Nursing Council registration or licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Professional qualification: Cisc Certified Network Profession (CCNP).
• Basic knowledge of the nursing profession and a strong desire to improve standards.
• Good communication, critical thinking, and prioritizing skills.
• Dynamic and supportive, with the ability to demonstrate initiative.
