Role Description The Staff Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Stevensville, MD, responsible for delivering individualized, evidence-based physical therapy services. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy and exercise instruction to support recovery, pain management, and improved function. The role involves collaborating with referring providers and other team members, documenting care in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards, and educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention. The Staff Physical Therapist also contributes to a positive clinic environment, participates in quality improvement initiatives, and supports the ongoing development of rehabilitation programs that serve sports and general orthopedic populations.
Qualifications
Strong clinical foundation in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.Demonstrated commitment to high-quality Patient Care and Home Care, including patient education and development of effective home exercise programs.Understanding of Medicine as it relates to musculoskeletal, neurologic, and sports-related conditions, and the ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals.Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program.Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.Experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports rehabilitation is preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.Commitment to continuing education, professional development, and maintaining best practices in physical therapy care.
