Storage Engineer

Tasks

• Design, integrate, and validate storage hardware, firmware, and software.
• Perform storage performance benchmarking, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Configure high availability, failover, recovery, and data protection.
• Develop automation tools using Python, Bash, and/or C.
• Work with Linux, firmware, BIOS, BMC/iDRAC, and high-speed networking.
• Support storage integration, manufacturing, system validation, and production releases.

Requirements

• 8+ Years
• W2 ONLY
• Enterprise Storage: NVMe, RAID, Distributed Storage, Replication
• Scripting: Python, Bash, and/or C
• Performance Tools: fio, iostat, perf, sar, iperf, sysbench
• Networking: Ethernet and/or InfiniBand
• Systems Engineering: Linux, Firmware, BIOS, BMC/iDRAC
• Preferred: NetApp ONTAP and Dell PowerScale / PowerFlex
• Preferred: High availability, resiliency testing, and performance tuning
• Preferred: Storage security, encryption, and FIPS-compliant configurations
• Preferred: Backup, replication, and S3-compatible storage integration
• Preferred: OEM/ODM vendor and manufacturing collaboration
• A hands-on engineering professional with 8+ years of experience in storage, systems, platform, or infrastructure engineering, strong troubleshooting skills, and end-to-end technical ownership.
