We're hiring a Team Lead – Intelligent Automation Engineer to lead a team of automation engineers on enterprise modernization work for Defense sector clients. The work sits where financial management, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data integration, and emerging AI meet - a good fit if you like untangling complex process problems and building the automation that fixes them.
You'll own technical leadership across design, development, testing, implementation, and stabilization, connecting financial systems, ERP platforms, cloud data environments, and reporting solutions. You'll also mentor junior engineers, shape automation strategy, and work directly with client stakeholders.What You'll DoLead design, development, deployment, and support of intelligent automation solutions that improve financial and operational processesRun automation assessments — spot high-value opportunities, evaluate process maturity, build the roadmapGuide the team through workflow analysis, process redesign, and implementationPartner with client leadership, business stakeholders, and program management on requirements and delivery timelinesSet automation best practices, governance standards, and quality controlsMentor engineers, review designs and code, and lead troubleshooting and root cause analysisWhat You Need5+ years in automation, enterprise applications, data integration, or software development1+ year as an Agile Team Lead, Scrum Lead, Technical Lead, or Automation Delivery LeadHands-on RPA experience - UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Power Automate, or similarProgramming and scripting: Python, SQL, JavaScript, or comparableExperience integrating enterprise applications, databases, APIs, and cloud data environmentsStrong Agile/Scrum background and proficiency with JiraBachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field (equivalent experience considered)U.S. Citizenship is a must have - active Secret clearance strongly preferredNice to HaveAgile, Scrum, RPA, or cloud certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP, UiPath, Power Platform, AWS, Azure)Automation delivery involving ERP, financial management platforms, or enterprise reportingFamiliarity with Power BI, Databricks, Palantir, Celonis, or AI-enabled automationKnowledge of government financial systems such as OneStream or GTAS reportingProcess mining, business process reengineering, or workflow optimization experienceApplied AI, generative AI, or machine learning in an automation context
