Tech Lead (Java, API & Integration, Web Services, Node.js, GCP)

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of scalable applications and microservices utilizing Java, Node.js, and GCP. Oversee API development and integration processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Implement CI/CD practices to enhance software delivery efficiency and application quality. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in coding and architecture. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and drive project success. Manage technical documentation and create clear specifications for system architecture and services. Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless user experience. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and Node.js. Proven experience with API Development and integrating web services. Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with microservices architecture and related technologies, including Kafka. Understanding of SQL, CI/CD practices, and Unix/Linux environments. Preferred familiarity with software development tools and methodologies such as Agile. As a Tech Lead, you will work closely with a diverse team composed of software developers, product managers, and QA testers. You will report directly to the Head of Technology and collaborate closely with other engineering leads to align on best practices and project timeliness. Your input will drive the success of product delivery through effective communication and teamwork across different functions. Your role will often require interaction with stakeholders across the company, ensuring that technical solutions align with business goals and user needs.
