Job description
Tasks
- manage end-to-end software release cycles
- coordinate deployments
- ensure smooth delivery across environments
- code packaging, deployment coordination, release planning, environment readiness, and basic troubleshooting
- identifying deployment risks, resolving release blockers, minimizing production disruptions, and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the release lifecycle
Requirements
- strong technical background with experience supporting software releases in enterprise environments
- A solid understanding of Java applications, microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and AWS is required
- hands-on familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deploying code across lower environments
- Experience identifying deployment risks, resolving release blockers, minimizing production disruptions, and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the release lifecycle is essential
- understands both application development and deployment processes, can coordinate multiple teams effectively, and has experience working with cloud-native applications and modern CI/CD tools
