Technical Sales Representative

Well established company in the machinery industry is seeking a confident, energetic and outgoing Sales Representative to join their team. Applicants should have at least 2 years’ sales experience, ideally in technical sales, machinery, engineering, or a related industry. Machinery experience is not essential, provided the candidate has a strong sales background and the right personality, as training will be provided.

The successful candidate will spend most of their time on the road visiting customers, generating enquiries and securing sales, while reporting to the office before and after client visits. Duties will also include checking customer quotations prepared by the administration team and following up on sales. The position requires regular travel, including occasional week-long business trips to other areas. A valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle are essential.

Salary package includes a basic salary, 10% commission on sales, R5 000 car allowance, company fuel, cell phone and tablet.
