About the role
Oosterland Child and Youth Care Centre requires a temporary housekeeping officer for a three-month contract, half-day post. Work hours are up to an average of 20 hours per week, with flexi hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support staff in maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
- Carry out administrative duties and clothing and hygiene checks.
- Inspect rooms, common areas, and facilities for compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Address and resolve housekeeping-related issues or complaints.
Requirements
- Grade 12.
- A driving licence is an advantage.
- Despatch/Kariega resident.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
