Traveling Retail Millwork Fixture Installer

Quality, safety, and organized job sites are core priorities, ensuring retail locations can maintain sales and protect customer safety during projects.Role Description This full-time, on-site role as a Retail Millwork and Fixture Installer is a 100% traveling position, The installer will be responsible for assembling, installing, and securing retail fixtures, millwork, and displays according to plans, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting drawings, using hand and power tools safely, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring all installations are level, aligned, and finished to high quality standards. The role involves coordinating with project leads and store management, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and adhering to scheduling requirements to minimize disruption to store operations. The installer may also assist with site surveys, minor repairs, and punch-list completion on remodels and new store builds.QualificationsExperience with fixture installation, millwork assembly, and basic carpentry; ability to read and interpret construction plans and shop drawings.Proficiency with hand and power tools, including safe operation, routine maintenance, and proper handling of materials.Strong attention to detail, quality-focused workmanship, and the ability to follow installation standards and manufacturer instructions.Ability to work on-site in active retail environments, maintaining clean, organized, and safe job sites and following all safety policies.Reliable time management skills, flexibility to work varied hours as needed, and capability to meet deadlines in fast-paced settings.Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with supervisors, clients, and other trades on the job.Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and move materials and fixtures throughout the shift; comfort working on ladders or lifts as required.Prior experience in retail construction, store remodels, or commercial carpentry is preferred; valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are beneficial.
