Sasol coal mine is hiring a dedicated Truck Driver in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This full-time role involves operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to support mining logistics and ensure timely delivery of essential materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles following traffic laws and safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee safety and performance.
• Load and unload materials carefully, securing loads properly.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Report vehicle malfunctions or issues promptly to management.
• Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with logistics personnel to manage delivery schedules.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret road signs and maps.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy loads.

This role requires teamwork and collaboration with logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth and safe delivery processes. You will report directly to the logistics manager and work cross-functionally to meet operational goals within the mining sector.
