Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive heavy trucks in compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize operations.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks.
• Deliver excellent customer service by being professional and courteous during deliveries.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven truck driving experience, preferably in transportation and logistics.
• Valid driver’s license with endorsements for heavy vehicle operation.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
