Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks safely, complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver goods to assigned locations as scheduled.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to guarantee safety.
• Keep accurate delivery records, including times and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members about schedules and any delivery issues.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit.
• Report accidents, incidents, or vehicle problems promptly to management.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience practicing safe driving habits.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
• Ability to operate heavy vehicles efficiently and safely.
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

This role reports to the transportation manager and involves close collaboration with dispatch, logistics teams, warehouse personnel, and logistics coordinators to optimize delivery operations and resolve issues quickly. Safety is a top priority in this supportive work environment.

Salary: ZAR 15,000 per month.
